Thank you for your interest in the Ladner Stingray Summer Swim Club. In 2009 our club enjoyed another highly successful year with our membership in our programs continuing to grow and our swim team achieving a 4th place and our Water Polo team placing 3rd at the Provincial Championships, from a comparatively small club results like this are outstanding. th. We are expecting 700 swimmers from the Lower Mainland and beyond. This opens up more exciting options to help out as we are looking for Sponsors for our T-shirts which will be given to every swimmer. We will also have a printed program of the swimmers and events which will contain advertising.

In 2009 the Stingrays also were negatively affected by the unexpected cuts to the gaming grants. The amount of our grant was cut by 75% (which wasn’t announced till August after the end of the swim season) which put the Stingrays in very dangerous financial condition. We managed to survive this obstacle but not without making some severe sacrifices. Our club now more than ever would not be able to successfully exist without the generous contributions of organizations and people like you.

The Stingrays would like to continue their relationship into 2010 and at this time ask for a contribution. We have different types of ways that you can contribute:

- Items, Gift Certificates or Services that can be used as a prize in our Silent Auction or Swimathon

- Cash Donations are graciously accepted and used for Swimming Equipment, Training Equipment and Training Courses for Coaches.

This year the Stingrays are also pleased to announce the club is hosting our first swim meet "The Super 7" on June 19-20

The Ladner Stingray Organization is proud of our contributions to both the community and the youth of the South Delta area. Many of the graduates of our program return to coach and mentor to become excellent role models to the youth in our club. The quality and successes of our program would not be possible without the contributions of organizations and people like you.
